It's not even a double album.

It's not a Run-DMC album if one disc is Run and the other is DMC. Outkast used to be a duo.

Speakerboxx/Love Below is the greatest "marketing as a double album" of 2 separate artists.

Man... This album was just good for two spins, after that it got boring and now it collects dust next to that overrated crap "Common" album...

WOW! a crap Common album, you'll have to let me know what that is called as I have not heard that one yet.

I think the Outkast album is brilliant, I prefer The Love Below section.

As for double albums, well, I think that 2Pac's All Eyez On Me has to go down in History as one of the greatest double albums.

It's not the greatest double album since SOTT, and I'll tell you why. Big Boi cannot really carry a whole album by himself without Dre. Speakboxx has some interesting moments, but as a whole, it's not something I'd listen to on purpose. The Love Below will be hailed as a classic in years to come regardless of what you fools here wanna say about it.

tru, maybe it is the best hip hop double album2 come since Notorious BIG's "Life After Death"

I love LIFE AFTER DEATH but ALL EYEZ ON ME is far better in my opinion!

What about R Kelly's double album R :

I know R Kelly might not be everyones idea of music but I think it is an excellent double album with lots of different flavours, technically even more flavours than Outkast's ?

I love the Love Below... has that Prince vibe throughout including the funny side of Prince! Ilove it for taking Prince's most odd moments and putting it all on a single album that is getting so much attention. Anyone her on the org knows thhat Andre3000 must be a major, major fan of Prince's after closely listening to the album. In my opinion, this is a very good album but the fact that music in general sucks so bad now (especially rap and r/b) makes The love Below stand out even more. "The Love Below" is excellent but I can't help but think, it's the best Prince inspired album ever.

Mainly, I'm just listening to it a lot. There are so many
princely ingredients. Listen to 'pink and blue', especially after the 3 minute mark.

how can it be when mostly -love below- is championed? hmm

One is immediate gratification, the other is time-released.
