BEYONCE doing National Anthem @ Super Bowl..... I thought this would happen...I think Beyonce will do a pretty good job...but I cant help but to think of past Anthem singers and what a tough act to follow this could be...
WHITNEY-She sang this in 1991...it was heart-stopping to say the least...NO ONE else has topped this version MARC ANTHONY-Nice version...he has a great version of this...I think he sang this at a World Series game... MARIAH-in 2002 MC took the mic for this rendition which I thought was was cool but she could have really ripped into this one but she held back. I was a bit bummed! DIXIE CHICKS-Beautiful version sung last year...they harmonize so beautifully...Go Chicks! Anyone else have any testimonials of past Anthem singers??? didn't boyz 2 men sing the anthem at the atlanta olympics in 1992 or 1994 or something? that was a cool rendition. i heard mariah's version. it was alright. she can sing, but her looks and behaviour just blows it for me. she destroyed her own career in my opinion. what happened to her i wonder.. don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine

Well she lives in Houston where the Bowl will be so I'm not surprised she got on.Hefa will take a year to sing that song with all that yodeling she does Sister Fate
