Concert For George Harrison I was watching some of this yesterday at a friend's house. I didn't catch all of it, but what I did see was excellent. For those of you who don't know, there was a tribute concert for George Harrison back in 2002 which was released in theaters late last year. Now it's out on a 2-disc DVD set. The All-star lineup included Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Jeff Lynne, Eric Clapton, Ravi & Anoushka Shankar, The cast of Monty Python, Billy Preston, and of course, the 2 surviving Beatles, Paul & Ringo. Definitely recommended for Beatles fans. Anyone else see it? NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

I HAVE to get this! Glad to hear it's excellent. They've been advertising it on television and the short excerpts I've seen were wonderful. Isn't that George's son onstage playing guitar? He looks like his identical twin! (Ringo's son just like Ringo, too).

I totally forgot to mention that George's son, Dhani, plays guitar with the band. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
