Has anyone heard anything new on this CD being released? Or ANY new project from Lady T?

This album has been delayed over and over and over again.At this point,I really doubt that it will ever be released.Teena signed with Cash Money Records last year,but there is still no sign of the CD! It's a shame that Old School artists have such a hard time getting new music released.

Sigh...David, don't get me started!!!

If she had a website where her music could be downloaded, I would gladly spend my money there...

I love this woman. Seriously. She has got to be the most underappreciated Soul artist I can think of. It almost made me sick to see the 'Soul Train/Lady Of Soul' awards give a lifetime achievement award to Whitney Houston while artists like Teena continually get overlooked.

Yeah I forgot about that Cash Money Records deal. She had a website hyping people up for the albums release but I haven't been to it in years.

Throughout the years,I have managed to find a little news on this mysterious,elusive album...


***The album contains a remake of the Smokey Robinson classic "Ooh Baby Baby".

***there is a duet with Gerald LeVert called "A Rose By Any Other Name".

***The album features guest stars Rick James,Common and Bahamadia (whoever that is).

***There is a duet with a female artist.The song is called "I Love Him Too" and it features the two of them fighting over the same guy.Teena actually premiered this song on one of our local radio stations (Kiss FM 98.1) several years ago,when she was in town with the Whispers for a benefit concert.


In other Teena news,her 1980 album 'Irons In The Fire' was remastered last year by Motown/Universal,but for some reason,it still has not been released (sound familiar? LOL).
