Didn't Craig David do a remake of one of Jon's song? I need to peep out C.D. I've been hearing great reviews about his music. His track 'Fill Me In' is very Jon B influenced. Two completely different styles of song. using a similiar instrument in a song doesn't make it a simliar style. I have all of Jon b's albums and Craig David's debut. That sounded cool, Chico & El Debarge with Jon B!!!. Also didn't El cover the late, great Roger's 'I Wanna B Ur Man' on a tribute CD 2 Roger or was it Chico instead?. NOW CHECK THIS OUT!!! I was checking out the Jan 04 issue of Sister Sister Magazine and on pg 13. There is a lil story about my boy Chico!! I couldn't believe what it said.. this is the story: " In sad news, one of Chico Debarge's co-star in the Tyler Perry play he's in went out to a club during the Philly stop of the play. The Guy got stuck at the club and couldn't get back home, so he called CHICO who went to pick him up. When Chico saw that the guy was getting into a fight with a White Guy and some women, CHICO tried to break it up. The guy Swung at CHICO, but didn't know who he was. CHICO beat the guy and the guy STABBED Chico. Chico was STABBED in a Serious part of his body, but he's doing okay now. He was releasd from the hospital the same day he checked in. He called to let me know he was fine. His spirits were up. This threw a monkey wrench into the plans for the play because CHICO had to be replaced until he recovered. Hell, if Chico is going to be in it I think I am going to have to pull out my ho clothes! By the way Red, thank you for the concern. I was just trying to find something positive out of a bad situation. That CD was the only thing salvagable anyway! If I had to pick music from Chico or Jon B., it would be Jon B. right now.
