During that Mctribute to Luther Vandross--while Celine Dion sang "Dance With My Father"--images were projected onto large screens. Among them was one of Janet as a little girl in the arms of her father Joe Jackson. Was this part of the video to Luther's song? Or was it the Grammys' idea of a subliminal message?

I am also glad that Patti Labelle also said her name among the people that wanted to voice their respect to Luther in the beginning of the tribute. For one split second I thought Janet was going to pop out I was sadly mistaken.

What was showing on the screens was the video for Dance with my Father, it wasn't clips made especially for the Grammy's.

Nobody saw Janet at the Staples Center, because she wasn't there.

She watched the broadcast with me, in my home.


We were, um ... er, going over the basics of the double stitch and why it's so important to use in stage costumes' ... er, high-stress areas.
