This is my favorite track from Everything Must Go. I think the music on this track is perhaps the most inventive on the album.

The eerie juxtaposition of the music and the lyrics, and the smooth-as-hell background vocals. It's like dark chocolate: bitter and sweet.

Great song,but I don't love it as much as Green Book,or Lunch With Gina.
I DON'T WANT TO BE NORMAL,because normal is part of the status quo,which I don't want to be a part of- Tori Amos

I agree with
g y p s y f i r e;
both b]green book[/b] & b]lunch with gina[/b] took some time to grow on me, but now [/b]green book[/b] is my favorite song on this album, to me it's a "prototypical" Dan song..
lunch with gina is in the top half of my favorites for this album.

I like pixeleen enough, but to me it sounds more like a "Donald Fagen" song than a Steely Dan song.

still double-dreaming a page at a time..
