Whitney & Bobby Are Seeking Help,,,Finally! Houston, Brown seek professional help together
December 19, 2003 A source extremely close to Whitney Houston told this column Thursday that she and husband Bobby Brown have agreed to enter an intensive counseling program in an attempt to "put their marriage back on track." "Whitney and Bobby have finally decided to face up to their problems -- and trust me, they've got a lot of them," the insider said, phoning from Los Angeles. The source stressed that this is not "some sort of desperate attempt to save their marriage. ... They've got their issues and their tempers, but underneath it all they are nuts about each other. "No, this is about two people who know they've got to get at their issues.'' Houston and Brown apparently will work with an L.A.-based therapist who will help them deal with anger management and "a continuing dependence on drugs and alcohol." The source also revealed that while Houston "is not pregnant now -- as far as I know -- Whitney desperately wants another child, but wants their problems to be behind them before she becomes a mother again." Meanwhile, Brown is facing yet another problem. His ex-girlfriend, Kim Ward, is filing suit, claiming the singer owes her $40,000 in unpaid support for their two children, Laprincia, 14, and Bobby Jr., 12. Ward says that her palimony agreement with Brown commits him to paying $5,500 per month.

The only one I really feel sorry for is their daughter. I can't imagine living in that house with two abusive drug addicts. She's the real victim of the story.

So true. She's better off living with Angelina Jolie.
