Anyone else love the "Back To Mine" series of CDs? The "Back to Mine" CDs are essentially mixed CDs offering up artists favorite music. Each CD comes with liner notes in which the artist explains each song and why they chose it for the compilation. These are fantastic and I can't recommend them enough.
So far the following artists have contributed to this awesome collection: *Tricky *Groove Armada *Morcheeba *Orb Everything but the Girl Nick Warren New Order Underworld Faithless MJ Cole Talvin Singh Danny Tenaglia Dave Seaman Moloko Orbital Audio Bullys Slam Various artists * denotes the ones I have. Damn!!! I didn't realize how many there were until I went to CDnow.com. I guess I know what I'm doing after the holidays 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Yeah this series is a great idea.. most of these artists have impeccable taste in music!
One of my friend says its a shame that Morcheeba's best album doesn't have their music on it (re: their Back To Mine compilation)

That series of discs is excellent as well. I do think there might be a Jamiroquai one. I didn't see it listed on CDnow.com... 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

The Danny Tenaglia one is fantastic as well.
Speaking of the AnotherLateNight compilations, the Filia Brazilia one is excellent.

The Jamiroquai one is called "Late Nite Tales".I was gonna buy it a few weeks ago,but a family member confessed that they got it for me as a Christmas gift
For this CD,Jamiroquai (or rather, leader Jay Kay) compiled a bunch of Old School jams that inspired him. From looking at the tracklist,it looks like he came up with some superb songs.I can't wait to hear this CD!!

The Tricky one is great, I kinda expected a little more but it's not disappointing. My favorite of the 4 I have is the Morcheeba one. That disc is fan-fucking-tastic!! 3 to 4 edit....
