Chuby Checker's a liitle conceited I was watching this one show on VH1 about celebrity lawsuits and Chuby Checker was one of the people talked about.
His lawsuits (for ripping off his image and music) were legit, but damn he has a big head Constantly going on about "his fame is his living", "if you want to use my fame we can talk about it", then, while pointing to his brand of beef jerky saying "look at this, this is mine" sheesh, you're not god  ~KiKi | |

Yeah, I've seen him on a few different things acting like that...I think he was talking about bringing up some lawsuit against someone for some ridiculous reason? I forget the details...damn that marijuana!! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I saw it early this morning. He did seem a bit full oh himself. You'd've thought he invented sliced bread. Okay, so the clothing catalogue company calls their buffalo plaid shirts (or whatever) "Chubby Checkers." He should be flattered! He acts like just because he had a hit record and a dance craze the world owes him something. Then he tries to capitalize on the success of that record with "Let's Twist Again." Talk about being original. Ain't nobody doing the F'n twist these days. The Electric Slide maybe, The Cha-cha slide, perhaps. But the TWIST!? Homey, please!
