Though I only attended the DROWNED WORLD tour...I'd have to say..

BLONDE AMBITION!!!

It was the Ultimate Madonna tour...it showcased the many sides of her and it was euphoric! It was Maddy at her absolute best and at one of the many peaks of her amazing career.

The 'Like A Virgin' segment was classic. I remember watching that over and over again in amazement. THEN at the end of the song she looks up and says "GOD!" and goes into 'Like A Prayer'...so good I've wet my pants over this many times.

In terms of length..it was her longest concert. She did all of her hits (at the time) and alot of I'M BREATHLESS...I thnk the concert I have on tape is well over 2 hours.

aside from BLONDE...I think all of her tours were really fantastic...though I wasnt that crazy about the WHO'S THAT GIRL tour...that's my least favorite Madonna-era.

Tie between Girlie and Blonde. I've seen Blonde a lot more, so it just might be Girlie.

Hey Chico, can I come over and watch it again? batting eyes

its a toss up of blonde ambition and girlie show. girlie show was during my favorite madonna era but it wasn't quite as diversified as blonde ambition. but, when i last watched blonde ambition i couldn't help but notice how corny the choreography was. i watched it, for the first time in years, with a dancer friend of mine and we were just giggling at how cheesy it was.

ok, so, i guess my answer is girlie show. lol.

i just love the virgin tour and blond ambition but on blond ambition those awful eyebrows totally clash with the blond so that irks me everytime! but i love watching maddy do gambler and like a virgin on the LAV tour...and break into the "billie Jean" bridge...LOVE IT! I wish there was a full show available to watch her do "ANgel" "Over and Over" and "Borderline" live...Angel is one of my favoirte songs...always has been...

Good question!

My girlfriend is a madonna fan, so we always we compete with eachother whose turn it is to play a DVD. She always plays Madonna and I always Prince. After watching her DVD's I would go for 'The blond ambition' tour musically, and the 'Drowned world tour' visually.

ps
Although Madonna is a good performer, she's no competition for the master!

If I could time warp to one of these tours, it would definitely be Blond Ambition - those outfits are the most classic.

Unfornately though, Blonde Ambition really can't be found on DVD (it was on a Japanese laser disc). I wish I they would just release it already. No need for the dumb box set!

I don't thik a lot of people bothered to get a laserdisc player and if they did, they must have kicked themsleves when DVDs hit. Who knew that DVDs would replace VHS and not laserdiscs, which failed?

I've been to two Madonna concerts,Blonde Ambition in 1990 and Drowned World in 2001.But if I had to pick a favorite,I'd go with the Girlie Show.I have the DVD and it is AMAZING!! Why didn't Madonna play more cities in the US with this tour?! I absolutely go crazy during the "Deeper and Deeper/Why's It So Hard" segment. And when she comes back for the encore singing "Everybody",that's just too much for me.Killer show, cool choreography, skimpy outfits, perfect setlist (much of 'Erotica' with several important oldies thrown in) all adds up to her most exciting, most impressive tour ever.

Were you one of the lucky fans that got to see that tour? Here in the US,she only played a few states then took the show overseas.I was so pissed.
