Personally I hate him, but I keep hearing that this dutch DJ has conquered the world and that he is officially the best DJ around. Is this true, also from an international point of view? How many people know him and his very irritating monotonous 'music'? Or is he just world-famous in the Netherlands?

as for "world's best" I thought that would go to Oakenfold or someone with equal stature

i like the remix of "sweet surrender" and "beautiful things"
but i've never heard anything else.

I picked up "In Search Of Sunrise Vol 3." a while back and was blown away by it. It was a great compilation and mixed perfectly.

One of his more recent releases "Nyana" was kinda monotonous.

I'm sorta 50 50 with him right now.

I hate his music, but he is pretty well known.
He was one of the artists on the Area 2 tour last year.

no, the best dj today is Mix Master Mike. He (used to be?) is the beastie boys dj, and he really is the serial wax killer. respect.
