Even though H&O absolutely HATE the term "blue-eyed soul" (they consider it racist, and I can see their point).

My other favs would be Lisa Stansfield and Teena Marie. Rick Astley has a tremendous voice that is (in my opinion) good enough to surmount his sometimes repetitive material.

Even though All-4-One had one black and one latino member. I still consider them BES.

Color Me Badd comes to mind as well (even though they had one black member).

Most might not agree, but I would include Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and now Audioslave. He has that rock/soul/bluesy twinge about his voice.
