Favorite Hair Band

(and we're not counting Bon Jovi because they're actually credible)

I gotta go with Poison!

Lol, I saw them two summers ago with some friends of mine, and it was like a time warp! We were the only teenagers there, and everyone was middle aged and straight from the 80s. Even the band still had the same hair, makeup, and sets. Cinderella and Winger opened for them. It was hilarious! It was quite entertaining, though, and a lot of fun. We made a pact to see a hair band every year. Last year, we saw Def Leppard, if only for "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and we're disappointed.

'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

i would think Skid Row was the best of them... or perhaps Cinderella.

Does Bon Jovi count? IF so, they were a pretty good pop-rock band

Sure Bon Jovi counts. Although they outlasted the genre. They had the hair and loud guitars though.

Actually Skid Row and Guns 'N' Roses seem a bit above the hair metal crowd. They never got into the make up and glam. Their songs and attitude were much more about 'keeping it real'. That's probably why they're the best of the bunch.

I wasn't counting Bon Jovi because they were able to transcend the whole hair band/glam rock thing. I'd count them as an actual band, lol.
