JUSTIN Timberlake's axed black tour manager is fighting for a £6million payoff claiming he was the victim of racist abuse.

The 22-year-old singer is said to have insulted Ibrahim Duarte by telling him: "You n*ggers ain't s**t" . Other members of the group are accused of mocking and abusing black employees.

Furious Duarte has now filed a lawsuit claiming he was dismissed because of his colour.

He said: "After four years of building them into one of the hottest bands in the world, they treated me less than human.

"The popularity and money went to their heads and their true feelings about having a black front man became apparent.

"I endured their constant racial slurs, jokes and belittling comments to make it work. But they just threw me to the curb like yesterday's trash."

According to the 18-page lawsuit filed in New York, band member Lance Bass, 24, made Duarte travel in a different bus because he was embarrassed to have a black tour manager. It is also claimed:

Star JC Chasez, 27, would yell at Duarte and his colleagues "You black guys always f*** up".

When the group's black choreographer Darrin Henson collected an award for Best Pop Video, one of the group called him "the dark member of NSYNC".

The band joked about the complexion of black sound engineer Dale Ramsey and mocked security guard Kenneth Hunter "in a racially offensive manner". Both were dismissed.

Duarte claims his relationship with NSYNC deteriorated during its successful No Strings Attached tour between February 1999 and December 2000.

As soon as the tour ended, he said, he was fired because the group was embarrassed to have a black as "front man".

He claims he was replaced by a white man with "significantly less experience", and is still owed £62,000 salary. Duarte said: "In my 25 years in this industry, I've never been treated like this by any other artist.

"I dedicated my life and career to these guys. Their decision to replace me took me by surprise. There was no notice, no warning and certainly no reason.

"I sacrificed all to help these kids when no one else in the industry was willing to take the risk.

"Just because people enjoy their music and they make a lot of money, they think they own the world and can treat people like garbage. But they can't."

Duarte was once described as a "mother hen" to the band whose other members are Chris Kirkpatrick, 32, and Joey Fatone, 26.

His other groups have included New Kids on the Block, Color Me Badd and Timbaland.

Duarte's lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, said: "I was shocked to learn that NSYNC, who cross so many cultural divides, engage in such deplorable conduct."

The band's lawyer, Helene Freeman, refused to comment.

I don't believe this-JT is practically black ever since hes been hangin' out with P.Diddy.And didn't he have a black girl in his video b4 with black rappers?I think this stemmed from a tabloid.

By the way, I don't mind the guy, but I wouldn't call Justin "practically black" because of who he hangs with, the clothes he wears, the music he makes and who he has in his videos. The cat's caucasian - a blue eyed 21st century soulboy to the max.

Now let's see how long it will take before he has a woman of african descent on his arm. They will be conveniently placed before all the paparazzi.

I guess the two fat memebers of Nsync didn't say anything bad, huh, as nothing that they've said was mentioned in the story. I would highly doubt this is true but who knows. And this isn't really similar to what happened to Eminem. He made what some people might think of as a racist record. These allegations are more serious if they are true (and they probably aren't).

Okay, first off, let me say that I think Justin, NSuck and all that so-called "music" really blows, so no one can claim I'm just some fan coming to their defence.

I think its a little fishy that this is all coming out now, a couple of years after the tour in question, with Justin "I really wish I was Michael Jackson" Timberlake on the top of the charts. Why was nothing said about this right after the tour? Is it because, at that time, NSync appeared to be over? That there wasn't anything major to be gained from going after a "has-been" band? Sounds a tad bit odd, but oh well. I think this is just another case of Someone trying to get a little extra cash out of a job he was fired from.
