Bowie in Montreal I know there's a lot of Bowie fans on here who are interested in how David's doing. His voice was in shape tonight and he put on a great show! He told us he still didn't feel well, but that the enthusiastic crowd made it worthwhile doing the show.
Here's the setlist: Rebel Rebel New Killer Star Reality Fame Fashion Cactus Afraid All the Young Dudes China Girl Loneliest Guy The Man Who Sold The World Hallo Spaceboy Sunday Under Pressure Life on Mars Ashes to Ashes Never Get Old Changes I'm Afraid of Americans Heroes Encore: Five Years Suffragette City Ziggy Stardust This was my first Bowie show and I hope it's not my last. Cuz it was a lot of fun! Only next time I hope I have better seats.

He'll be playing festivals in the UK and Europe next summer, so he may be playing more shows round your way later in the year.

This is fantastic news that he was feeling at least well enough to perform. I will see him for the first time in January and just cannot stand the wait!!! Thank you for posting Raven!

Excellent. It won't be long now. I'll be catching him in Detroit and Chicago if all goes well.
I think this is a wonderful setlist. Very tight.

Although I hope he adds Be My Wife, Sound and Vision and Fantastic Voyage back into the setlist by the time I see him. Those songs need to be there.

Consider it done. When's the show? I had sorta the same thing you did. I bought his '93 and '95 albums, and was intrigued by his back catelogue. But it seemed so massive and I didn't know much of his old stuff. So it was a bit intimidating cuz I didn't know where to begin. But in '97 I started slowly chiseling away at his work and haven't stopped since. I'd say I like him even more than Prince at this point.

I was nervous I wouldn't be familiar with a lot of the music played. Plus, me and my friend got our tix last minute. Side stage. But the seats weren't so bad. I had a good view of everything, just from the side. And the setlist was great! I knew almost everything that was played. I was on my feet most of the time clapping. Life on Mars and Five Years were highlights for me. Those are two of my favorite songs.
