American Life

Anything P. Diddy

Wrong topic or you must live in biazzaro world. I struggled to hear "American Life" on radio and only heard it like 3 times. And two of those times it was the station in Toledo. And Madonna is from Detriot and always got good radio play before! Did you really hear AL that much?

It only managed to peak at #37, I doubt ANYONE heard it much.

And keep in mind that only happened becuase it was a sell through single and no that probably sold OK (we are talking about Madonna fans. I mean, I bought it and the maxi, and two verisons of the album...) so it's not even fair to compare it to "Me Against the Music" which must have gotten a lot more airplay (I heard it quite a bit..on radio). BTW, did anyone hear "Hollywood" on the radio. Neve heard it once and considering it didn't chart, this is not a surprise. Something tells the same fate awaits "Nothing Fails"

definately no chart success, but here in NY (or biazzaro world as you put it), yes it was saturated and I hated the edited video that they played over and over (at skyy bar ny)with her face over the flag. The original version on the runway was sooo much better. Too much hype, too many remixes, too much play.

Well over here I only heard it like 4 times max and I kept trying to listen for it. I'd hate to say it but consider yourself lucky! Compared to the crap they play here, I'll take AL anyday. I couldn't agree with you more on the re-edited video. Sucked!
