Album of the Moment: The Cars, "Candy-O" (1979) it's all launchcast's fault that i got hooked on this album, seriously... i've got this album as part of my launchcast station's playlist. last weekend i went to cheapo and found a copy of the album on vinyl and bought it. the cars' first self-titled album is cool, but candy-o kix lotsa ass. my fave trax off of the album are: -- dangerous type -- lust for kicks -- double life -- got a lot on my head -- candy-o the album as a whole is sweet, too. not to mention one of my fave pin-up artists of all time, alberto vargas, did the album cover. anyone else here familiar with this album?

I've been thinking about getting this. I have an old Cars "Greatest Hits" CD which is quite good. But I've been curious about their album tracks. This is probably the best place to start.
I didn't like what I heard from "Panorama" though (1980). And I'm really curious about the "Shake it Up" album from '82.
