new album by js and the mescaleros is really good some brill tracks ...

not so sure bout his cover of redemption song this is a track which imo should'nt b attempted !

the album is a bit more laid back than his clash material,its even a little more laid back than rock art and global (his other 2 albums with the mescaleros) there r a couple o uptempo nrs... arms aloft and all in a day.

a great album its such a shame he no longer with us !!!

I've still gotta get me a copy. I heard it sounds pretty cool. I did hear his version of Marley's "Redemption Song" which was awesome. R.I.P. Joe! You were my musical hero!

nu album is a real grower !, i now hail it in the brilliant category !

I put it in my top10 on the other thread but that was moreso because he's a departed legend. There are some great moments on Streetcore but comparing it to London's Burning as some fans have is bit much IMO.

Anybody in the UK check Channel 4 Wednesday night for a tribute TV show...
