does anyone hate the neptunes

i know they have talent but why does evry one of their beats have to have a) the exact same sounds b) pharrells god awful voice that rock critics compare to curtis mayfield like the soul-deaf people they are c) production that sounds like its from sonic the hedgehog?

i liked the nerd album but half the other stuff they dole out to people is so cynical and lazy.

every other or so i like, cant help it. That beat on "Change Clothes" is tight, but "Allure" (from The Black Album" is also lazy and boring.

They need 2 take a break 4 a while. I dont hate them, they are just um...kinda um...expired

TRON

I completely fell in love with the N.E.R.D. album but whenever I see Pharrell's mug in a video, it puts me off. He's just become a total starfucker and I wish he would stay more in the background. I prefer the days when "Lapdance" was out and nobody knew who he was.

They need to go away for awhile, and come back when they have something new to add to the mix.

Then don't be surprised if they never come back at all...
These guys don't have a single original bone in their body of work...It's all plastic remakes of things done better and stronger before...
And that skinny ethiopian looking muthafucka needs to go with his embarrassing moronic voice...

What! I think you got it backwards playboy, the beat on "Change Clothes" is weak, but the on "Allure" is tight! I think it was perfect for what J had to say.

The Neptunes are lacking nowadays. I sense the decline in their production ever since 2002 around the time of Nelly's "Hot In Herre." I wasn't all over "Frontin'" like other kids and I felt that "Attack of the Clones" could have came harder. They've spread their sound too thin. They were at their artistic peak with N*E*R*D's "In Search Of...". I was suprised at how worn their music and lyrics sound on Kelis' "Tasty," I can see why she explored other producers.
