i am not ipressed in the least with this video. i can say, immediately, it is my least favorite madonna video. is she intentionally ruining any chances of salvaging american life? yeah, yeah, yeah, i'm well aware it has sold over 5 million copies but c'mon! the remix version grabs your attention so much more...what's the point of having the remix project if you don't support it at all? that video is just horribly boring. too bad. madonna needs to take a nice vacation and figure out what she's doing as far as promotion goes.

I agree that the remix of the song is superior to the album version, but I think this video is a good match for the track used.

nah, at this point in the game, i'm over my 'its madonna, she can do whatever she wants and i'll love it' thing. that was me back around erotica. nowadays, that spot is reserved solely for tori...she's the only one who has never let me down artistically speaking.

I think it's OK. I wish though she would have but all her energy into one single and make a video for "Nothing Fails". Anyone else notice that dress Madonna is wearing. Is the old Italian lady dress! Ma mia Madonna!

This video was shot very hastily by director Luc Besson in one day using the sets of the commercial, which explains why it really can't be viewed as a "Madonna video". It's only a one-off from a commercial she made.

I wish she had made a video for Nothing Fails, as well. It's the superior song, and they could have done a damn good job remixing it. American Life as the first single really ruined the album for good, though.

Now that I've seen it...that might just be her worst video ever. WTF is up with the dancing flower? Something tells me Madge has lost her edge with this video and the children's books. No more controversy for matronly Madonna.

i'm not sure if i like it. it seems kind of corny and dumb, but there are parts that are kind of neat (like the very end).


not sure yet. but i haven't liked a Madonna video since Don't Tell Me, and Love Don't Live Here Anymore before that, so my expectations for Madonna videos aren't that high anymore.
