MC HAMMER BACK ON THE PAYROLL He deserves it! I love this guy!
Hammer Time for WB with Comedy Series Tue Dec 9, 5:28 AM ET Add Entertainment - Reuters TV to My Yahoo! By Nellie Andreeva LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Former rapper MC Hammer has teamed with the WB Network to develop a comedy loosely based on his life as a minister and family man after his departure from the music scene in 1997. The project falls under his script deal with the network, which he signed following his stint on the WB reality series "The Surreal Life." "The show is going to focus more on his family as well as himself adjusting to their new lifestyle -- they're not broke, they're not rich, they're just not in the same tax bracket as they were when he was a rapper -- as well as his kids adjusting to having their father at home every day," said Devon Shepard, ("Mad TV"), who will write and executive produce the project. "Hammer and I both agreed that we were going to try to approach this kind of like 'The Cosby Show' was in the '80s, to really give it that traditional feel that I think is lacking in television right now." MC Hammer, born Stanley Kirk Burrell, is best known both for his hit 1990 song "U Can't Touch This" and for his genie pants. Reuters/Hollywood Reporter Let the rain come down...17 days....

He's known for his genie pants?
This article makes it sound like he had a worthwhile career in the fashion industry. It would be a shame to forget "Turn This Mutha Out". Sounds like another great WB show about typical African Americans in society today! "It's that Coqui 900, can I have me a sip"

I think it's great. He seems like a good person to me. Do u know he's been married to the same woman for 18 years? If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

Yeah, he does seem like a good person from what I know. Of course, I don't know him personally, but I'm from Oakland too and he's done good things around here.
