They are a very cool band and they've been together for 16 years, so I think they have paid their dues. I'll definitely be getting the new cd even though I have all of them already. | |

I really like them, but I HATED "Rock Steady". Total pop sell-out crap. I was sooo disappointed!!!

I really like them, but I HATED "Rock Steady". Total pop sell-out crap. I was sooo disappointed!!! Same here. I don't why people thought it sounded New Wave, but it really didn't. All of their stuff has been great. Tragic Kingdom and Return of Saturn were both masterpieces, but Rock Steady grows on you. I was initially disappointed with Rock Steady and thought they were taking a step into a more plastic commercially acceptable avenue, but with a few listens Rock Steady shined through on artistic merit as well. In the end, they are good songwriters, so their stuff is always going to be pretty good, at the least. | |
