Janet will perform at Halftime at the 2004 Super Bowl!

I read this on Janet's own message board..

someone posted this!!

"From miss-janet.com:

Sunday December 07, 09:51
Janet Jackson is doing the Half time show for the Super Bowl
This information was already leaked a while back on the internet.. But we just heard it officialy.. Janet will be performing during the half time show at 2004 Super Bowl in February. Savion wrote to us a while back that during the Janet Auditions they were looking for 15 girl & 15 guy dancers for the upcoming Super Bowl event. Some of you have written to us asking if we will be having any tickets for this event. We are still awaiting to hear if we will or not. As many of you might know this is a huge event. So it will be hard to get tickets for this show. But as soon as we know more we will let you know.

I love you Janet!!! I can't wait until she puts her new stuff out! But if this is true, this will be a nice push for your new stuff! smile

I won't be watching. She'll be sure to mime and I'm certainly not staying up til 4am to see what is essentially the same half-time show for the last 3 years. I haven't taped it since 1998 when they did a Motown 40th Anniversary celebration.

The Super Bowl falls on my birthday this year (February 1), so I'm scrambling trying to find ways to get down to Houston and go to the Halftime show. I'll loiter in the stadium parking lot if I have to!

If I can remember correctly, she was supposed to perform at the 2002 Super Bowl in conjunction with the "All For You" album, but 9-11 happened, so they went with a patriotic halftime show instead. Janet performing at the Super Bowl is definitely a long time coming. I'll do what I can to get to this major Janet event.

Well no-one and I mean NO-ONE watches American Football in this country. Especially not when we have Rugby - HURRAH for England, who saw the victory parade in London today? I live right by the home of Rugby, Twickenham Stadium.

If the time difference wasn't so big and the Superbowl could be shown here live at an earlier and more popular timeslot on terrestrial TV, I doubt it would be shown at all.

Just Janet? Or will there be some kind of collaboration going on?

if i could watch real football or rugby, over american football, i wouldn't watch the american version either! unfortunately, i'm at the whim of my cable company which does not yet carry the beeb and fox sports has so few games on.
