I've been fortunate enough to sample Kelis' forthcoming album and I must say the track with Andre 3000 is an immediate standout. It's like vintage Prince; up-tempo beat machines, synths, layered vocals, alternating interplay between the male/female lead vocals, and a catchy hook combined with a thoughtful message. Excellent track, Andre continues to bring it! By the way the Raphael Saddiq tracks are quite good as well. Saadiq is the most overlooked producer in music right now. He has made of the most beautiful/influential music of the last two decades and he shows no signs of slowing down.

I love that song. It sounds like something straight out of Prince's 1999. I love Kelis' breathy vocals with Andre's off-key falsetto. The song is amazing.

"Mama, I'm a millionaire, but I feel like a bum."
"I am rich, he is rich, she is rich, we is rich."

Also, I think Kelis' "Glow (featuring Raphael Saadiq)" is one of the best songs of this year. The song sounds so rich, like it was lifted from an old vinyl or something. I will be playing it for years to come. I am amazed at how Saadiq's sound compliments so well to Kelis' voice.

Yeah, this song is right HOT!!! Definitely reminds me of something from the 1999 era with the synth line and all. Sweet track. And someone mentioned Glow here too, and I'm diggin' this track as well.

"Tasty" is the kind of album that would sound well on vinyl. I hope I can find a vinyl LP of this album at Tower or Amoeba.
