Sad to say,EnVogue is over. They MIGHT have a second chance if they had all four original members. But I still enjoy their first two albums.

TRON

The funny thing is that when they were together, Dawn was my least favorite.

But now that she's out of the group, she seems like the most important. It's not the same without her.

Destiny's Child needed to become a 3 piece. EnVogue did not.

Rhonda's been in the group for a few years now...she's no DAWN! Their second album FUNKY DIVAS was incedible!

Really? I could have sworn that the last album they released a few years ago (the one that tanked really hard) was only the three original members, Why would they replace Dawn after all these years. Poor En Vogue. It is so over!

I know that many resents Dawn 4 her attitude(calling it crazy in the words of Mr.Raphael Saadiq whateva) but I respect her 4 standing her ground and fight 4 what she believes in rather than get along with the flow and let folks walk all over her.

That sista def got my props I don't care how wild she is or how crazy she is,,its a hustle out-there 4 a sista(and a talented one 4 that matter) and if it takes to be aggrassive and bitchy in order to get yo dues? Then do the do, girlfriend! its about YOU at the end of the day,,,not them.

I haven't heard any other girl group that can get with the original lineup of En Vogue. If they could duplicate the sound, you'd think by now they would have; but you can't duplicate chemistry.

I'm pretty sure she was on 2000's "masterpeice THeater" with the semi - hit "riddle."

I only remember three girls on the cover and in the video. That seems odd that she sang on it but wasn't seen. And yeah, I guess "Riddle" was a slight hit.

Rhondab

its only three members...Maxine left too.

EnVogue had the opportunity to get even bigger but with Dawn not wanting to sign that last contract...well..there fate was sealed.

Masterpiece theater did have 3 members on the cover, although the one girl did not look at all like Maxine. But you heard Maxine's voice on the record...

EV3 wasn't bad, considering Dawn left. There were some really great songs and I like that they went in different directions throughout the album. Masterpiece theater has some kick ass songs on it but a lot of it I simply don't like. Their producers need to stick to letting these girls flex their vocal chops.

They were one of the best girl groups ever. I still love them. As for this new member, is that her on the cover of Masterpiece theater? I swear that does not look like Maxine!

Any news on when they might have a new album? This is one act I will always support, even if they only give a few jems per album.

En Vogue Is Back With New Member, New Single

The original funky divas, En Vogue, are back. Now featuring original members Cindy Herron and Terry Ellis along with newly added singer Rhona Bennett, En Vogue is set to release a new CD, titled Soulflower, on February 24, 2004. In the meantime, the lead single from the set, "Losin' My Mind," was just made available on November 17 and is currently one of the most added tracks at urban AC radio.

The first new set since the group's poorly received Masterpiece Theater in 2003, Soulflower again unites the girls with the team of Denzil Foster & Thomas McElroy, the producers who first created the group as a quartet in 1989. Foster/McElroy also gave the ladies their biggest hits, including "Hold On (To Your Love)," "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)," and "Free Your Mind."

New member Bennett, who was featured on the short-lived the Jamie Foxx Show, is showcased on "Losin' My Mind," which also features some vintage Babes In Toyland-style brass fanfare loops.

Soulflower also features En Vogue's version of Guy's 1988 ballad "A Piece Of My Love."
