yay!

now if it were just for a more recognizable category! scarlets walk was a fucking statement and a half on american politics. certainly her most political recording and, in my opinion, her most important (socially speaking). i never thought she would top my love for pele but scarlet quickly became my favorite.

and i have yet to hear the remix of vegas. sad

Family Tree was nice, but Bjork's Live Box deserves a SuperDuperHolyMoley Award of UberSexyFrikkinKool Merit for being so well designed, chock full o' stuff and amazingly affordable all at the same time.

I loved that remix for Seal's "Get It Together" that was all over radio. Not sure if that is the verison or not. It was really good what they did to it.

The Rauhofer mix of "Beautiful" is so fucking awesome!!!

Of course, they never released it on anything... The Grammy nominee list is so weak this year... It's cute that they pay tribute to deceased artists, but come on... would those people have gotten nominees if they were still alive? I think not!

I agree. Family Tree was okay. The strings discs especially were nice. But she could've done much more with it. But her live box set is the most worthwhile live album(s) I've ever heard. I usually don't get it up for official live stuff, but she really knew what she was doing with this one. The Homogenic and Vespertine discs get regular spins around my place.
