TRON

Madonna on Leno tonight

Not sure if she's there to talk or perform. Hopefully the latter. She's probably there to promote the EP and not the children's book, which is a good thing. It should be interesting because I've heard that she swore never to make an appearance on Leno again. I hope she does "Love Profusion" rock mix!

btw, does anybody know when the video is supposed to premier?

Anxiety

You know she's going to be a total ice princess to Leno. It'll be worth watching just to see how long she can keep her nose wrinkled up.

They've showed two commericals for it during "Law and Order" and said that Nelly Furtado is the musical guest. I guess Madonna is above doing musical preformances on late nights shows (as of today!). Something tells me this is going to be all about the book and the Ep might get a short mention. Too bad.

i only wish they'd mentioned the e.p. rolleyes

but... the appearance was decent. i enjoy her rapport and patter with Letterman much more. but then, that can be said of any guest appearing on Leno's show. gag.

she really did a number on that braw-loosening guy that followed her though biggrin

In recent years,Jay Leno has repeatedly made jokes about Madonna's acting ability, which of course pissed her off.

puh-lease...who hasn't made fun of madonna's acting ability (or lack thereof) lol...either way, it was a nice interview. too bad she just doesn't care about her music enough to talk about it.

i don't like the re-emergence of the school marm Madonna (think Evita-era, and pre-Music 2000 (i.e., photo shoots from early in the year))... i know she's toning it down/classing it up to promote the childrens' books, but it just doesn't become her. she always looks least attractive when she's trying to look "respectable"

check your local listings for NEXT Wednesday, very late at night (like 2:30-5 a.m. or so), many local NBC affiliates run Leno re-runs in a very late slot, a week behind original broadcast.

I seen a part of the interview and will catch the re-play next week, but Madonna looked pretty and was well mannered!

Madonna did disappoint me by not mentioning her latest EP!
But once again, she doesn't have to sell another cd after having sold more than 130 million records worldwide since 1982!

She's not pressed about the music anymore...as far as a selling gimmick.

Warner Bro.s isn't doing there job anyways...no huge displays or commercials to boost the ep and I had to dig around to find it at the record store...not on the new releases wall, but in the madonna section!

Thats sad...Prince and Maddy used to be on the front display and new releases sections, now its straight to the back!!!
no radio play, no hit!

Oh well, they both aren't that worried like we are...strange huh =/?

I haven't been to many record stores this week so I haven't had a chance to look for it but Circuit City did have it in their ad for $6.99 and in a big display on that page of new releases. However, that sale only lasted two days and is already over becuase they changed their sales with the new ad.

I was also pretty dissapointed that she didn't mention the EP at all. She should have brought it up. Kind of sick of the children's book Madonna but I guess we are going to be seeing her for a while.

I saw her on Leno.. She was actually enjoyable to watch... and her fake British accent seems to be getting less and less!
