I was supposed to be going to see Bowie in London tonight with a friend of mine. Sad thing is, my wife fell ill last night so I couldn't go, and my friend came down with flu today as well. She decided to give her tickets to another BowieNet member to see if he could give them to anyone at the gig, as she wasn't well enough to go on her own.

The thing is, my friend is a HUGE Bowie fan. She had second row seats for the gig, and she's been excited about going for months now and it's all she's been able to talk about. I just chatted to her and she's really, really upset about missing the gig and seeing Mr. Bowie. I can imagine how she's feeling because I'd be just as upset if I couldn't go to a Prince gig I had second row tickets for!

All I'm asking is that a BowieNet member post this on the site for me. I know that the community over there is pretty close, so I know that there'll be fans there to give her support and cheer her up. Her tag is Bow99.
