Oh, HELL YEAH! Such a tragic end to such a talent.  Roger ws one of the funk-jazziest ever! R.I.P. To this day, NO ONE (including Prince) has ripped a small stage (club) like them. To me, they were unrivaled on the small stage as a funk band (post 70's).
I'm surprised Roger doesn't get compared to Prince as much as others around here...oh, maybe ya'll don't know how bad he really was...my bad.

I am a big, big fan of Roger & Zapp, they r my fave band ever and Roger was so talented and his 'talkbox' vocals r awesome. Check out my site in my signature!
I would recommend u get ALL their albums and Roger's solo albums 2 - I still need 2 get 'The Saga Continues' on CD but have it on tape and its an excellent album. Cool 2 see some more Roger & Zapp fans on the org  | |

Oh yes! Roger was one of the few funk guitarists I know of to rival Prince. | |
