whats the ultimate love song that would explain? Joe Cocker's You Are So Beautiful is good. Any others? The songs can't assume any sexual history. Thanks.

Simple and to the point. Good choice. All orgnotes and emails requesting trades or how to acquire bootleggage will be ignored. - The ThreadKiller -

Well...first and foremost...
Adore (by Prince, SOTT) Stevie Wonder (All I Do) and the perfect song for this exact topic would be, ofcourse... Friend, Lover, Sister, Mother, Wife. Quite beautiful, yup Blue Now if only Rhonda Smith would realize we're more than jus friends Blue

Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful

Wrong, Mikey J went to wall mart to steal some children, and then bugger them, not to buy them shorts - he's too naive to be subtle.

U obviously didn't get the joke - he had no intention of buying them. "Off" is the operative word. Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful

Finally Found by The Honeyz : I can't believe you're here with me And now it seems my world's complete And I never want this moment to end I close my eyes and still I see My dreams become reality And now I know how it feels to be in love I prayed so many nights that you would come my way An angel from above to light my darkest day I think it's time for you to heed these lines 'Cos there's something I want to say Chorus: I finally found what I've been looking for And now you know I'm going to love you more Hold me tight 'cos it's always been you (It's always been you) To think that you were always there (always there) To be my friend and wipe away my tears Now it's clear that it's always been you Sometimes you don't expect that friends Can become lovers in the end Only god knows what the future will bring So hold me close and don't let go 'Cos this is love, boy, don't you know? And we're gonna be together for eternity I prayed so many nights that you would come my way An angel from above to light my darkest day A love so strong it can't be wrong It's with you that I belong Repeat Chorus (This time) this time I'm gonna make sure it turns out right I wanna be your everything and by your side For the rest of my life (This love) this love Feels the way that love should be Look in my eyes and realise there's no disguise 'Cos I'm in love with you Aah...

Sign Your Name by Terence Trent D'Arby
Fortunately you have got Someone who relies on you We started out as friends But the thought of you just caves me in The symptoms are so deep It is so much too late to turn away We started out as friends Sign your name Across my heart I want you to be my baby Sign your name Across my heart I want you to be my lady Time I'm sure will bring Disappointments in so many things It seems to be the way When your gambling cards on love you play I'd rather be in Hell with you baby Than in cool Heaven It seems to be the way Sign your name Across my heart I want you to be my baby Sign your name Across my heart I want you to be my lady Birds never look into the sun Before the day is gone But oh the light shines brighter On a peaceful day Stranger blue leave us alone We don't want to deal with you We'll shed our stains showering In the room that makes the rain All alone with you Makes the butterflies in me arise Slowly we make love And the Earth rotates To our dictates Slowly we make love Sign your name Across my heart I want you to be my baby Sign your name Across my heart I want you to be my lady With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

A friend of mine had some guy sing a really pathetic version of this 1 on her answering machine...far be it from me 2 make fun of him 4 the effort, but that pretty much ruined that tune 4 me. Now I laugh every time I hear it. But seriously, I just started going out with this girl last week and I can tell U, writing a tune yourself is the way to go! I played her other people's tunes and I got claps but when I played her a tune I wrote for her I got a kiss! Like the old jazz standard goes.. "Learn...Learn To Croon!"

I would say put some songs on a CD-R and get ur friend 2 listen 2 them and say 'these songs describe how I really feel about U' etc. etc. U know...: I would have: 1. I Wanna Be Ur Man - Roger 2. I Only Have Eyes 4 U - Zapp 3. Thank U In Advance - Boyz II Men 4. Knocks Me Off My Feet - Donnell Jones 5. Could - Brian McKnight 6. La La La La Means Love U - 0(+> 7. Betcha By Golly Wow - 0(+> 8. All That I Am - Joe 9. Nothing Even Matters - Lauyrn Hill & D'Angelo 10. Can't Take My Eyes Of You - Lauyrn Hill 11. Ribbon In The Sky - Intro 12. You Are So Beautiful - Babyface 13. My Kind Of Girl - Brian McKnight & Justin Timberlake 14. In A Rush - Blackstreet Its ur decision but I'd try & find a few songs which reflect ur feelings rather than just 1 or even write a song/poem urself, its up 2 u. Good Luck!

Friends and Lovers- I dont know who sings it... but it is beautiful!
Sweet Thing- Rufus and Chaka Khan The day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom - Anais Nin

This is really a dance song as opposed to a ballad, but one Janet song that comes to mind about falling in love with a friend is "Alright"...
...Catch a falling star that shines. Make a wish, clap three times. Dreams come true, it's in the mind. That's alright with me. Your wish is my command, never thought I'd fall in love again. Again, with my best friend. That's alright with me. Friends come and friends may go. My friend, you're real, I know. True self you have shown; you're alright with me. Through thick and thick to thin, I'll love you 'til the end. You know it's true, my friend. You're alright with me...
