I can understand Britney, but MADONNA? It sucks, but I think Christina is very angry about what is said about her and she's making it worse. I really enjoy her voice and admire her for her talent. She seems to be going downhill with the attitude now.

I think Christina is the most talented singer of the 3, and has great potential. But she is sooo freaked about being overshadowed by Britney that sh'es morphed into a skank. I think she's headed for a breakdown. Hopefully, she'll rise from the ashes and be better for it, and not totally crumble. She has the ability to be so much more than what she is making herself out to be.

I don't understand why everyone's trippin' over Christina's voice. I don't think it's that good. It constantly sounds like she's constipated and I don't feel like being hit over the head with guttural attacks every time she opens her mouth.

Well, I can name the reasons why she has a problem with britney and madonna.
Britney: She's sick of being compared to and having to compete someone who she's inferior to. That's been going on since the Mickey Mouse Club days. Whenever Britney does anything it overshadows whatever Christina does (Christina ALSO kissed Madonna, but of course it's seen as the "britney/madonna" kiss, and most recently, Christina released a single "The Voice Within" at the same time Britney released "Me against the music", which one is better? Christina's, of course. Which one is bigger? Britney's, of course.) Eventually you get sick of being overshadowed by someone you're better than.
You really think she would've came out with that "dirrty" stuff had britney not been taking it off for the past 2 years?
THAT'S her beef with Britney, and I don't blame her one bit.
Madonna: She probably sees her the way I see her; a one-time great who is now jumping on bandwagons to be "hot" with today's youth. Her last two albums left a lot to be desired. So what does she do? Kiss Britney and do a single with her (and no, the single was not planned, they decided to do something when they met at rehearsals for the VMAs,"Me against the music" was originally just Britney.). They're both scratching eachothers backs to stay relevant.
That's probably her problem with Maddy, once again, I totally agree.

Now with Pink, knowing Pink, she most likely talked trash about her and now Christina's striking back.Whatever.

All in all, out of all of today's female "pop stars" Christina's (and pink) are the best, for many reasons:
1. She can actually sing
2. She doesn't kiss people's ass to get where she wants to go
3. She actually has say over her music & lyrics. She wrote all of "Stripped" (and did a fine job too, IMHO) while Britney only "co-wrote"
4. She's not dingy (like jessica)
5.She doesn't have guest rappers all over her music (like Mariah)
all she needs to do is drop the "dirrty" thing.

Maybe she's just tired of Britney and comp. getting all the credit, attention, and praise when she's better than them. That's certainly understandable.


And as far as her dissing of mtv/VMAs/pop star machines: right-fucking-on

I never liked Pink much and I didn't like Christina much either, but I was given her cd as a gift and once I listened to it, I didn't mind her so much and I knew she could actually sing unlike that skank Britney who couldn't sing a lick if her very life depended on it. I liked Madonna's last 2 cds. I don't know why she's stooping to playing around with Britney. I heard the song for the first time last week and I wasn't impressed. I can't STAND the sound of Britney's voice. It's so forced and unnatural sounding. IMO, Britney does a good job at pretending to sing and all the skin and lights do a good job of distracting from that fact.

well, comparing success of "The Voice Within" and "Me Against The Music" is a bit of a stretch, considering the former is the 4th single from Christina's album, and the latter is the kick-off to Britney's return. of course Christina's song is going to get overlooked in comparison to the attention Britney's has gotten. people didn't ignore her first 3 singles... if they wanted people to pay attention to this song, they wouldn't have wasted it as the 4th single
