Michael Jackson Arrested. Does anyone have any solid proof?
I, personally, have not heard or seen anything regarding these two rumors. However, .Orgers, with whom I trust on the matter have said that MJ's been served with an arrest warrant... So... what have you heard. Is it true? (see last post for details edit) [This message was edited Thu Nov 20 12:44:18 PST 2003 by June7] |

Well here's a news posting from some channel in China so I wouldn't know how credible/sensational they are?
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (Xinhuanet) -- A warrant has been issued for the arrest of US pop superstar Michael Jackson for suspicion of child sexual molestation, KCAL-TV Channel 9 reported Tuesday tonight, citing confirmation from a Jackson family attorney. http://news.xinhuanet.com...187610.htm

I think the newspapers added to what Diane Dimond said live.. she said basically IF michael was there he would have been arrested.
BUT I haven't seen anywhere a Warrent for his arrest? Because if thats the case everyone knows he is on The Set of a Music Video in Vegas. ** another thing Diane said last night & now I have seen in many newspaper articles is that back in 1993 the Cops found "Love Poems & letters" MJ made to that little boy back in 1993! I never heard that before? Was that known before she slipped up and said that last night??? wow thats pretty sick! [This message was edited Wed Nov 19 1:49:56 PST 2003 by locoarts]

Indeed.Michael really makes it hard for his fans to remain in his corner.Even without the molestation scandals,he still has alot of "baggage" to carry around. And the most frustrating thing is,HE doesn't even think he's doing anything wrong!

Its like they have known stuff for years and been just itching to BLAST MJ with it. I never heard Lover Letters.. and BOOM she brings that out of no where! * watch today all the reporters.. I think they see a "OJ" comin!! Every night on cable everyone Debate like 3 year olds! NO facts just blurt out stupid crap in less then 3 seconds.. then cut someone else off in the next 10 seconds?? ( I hate basic cable with their stupid "News" Debating Talk Shows) BY the way does Flo Anthony have a buzzer attached to her & it goes off (shocks her) when MJ makes a "Jacko Fool" of himself?? This broad is everywhere in seconds! (BUT NEVER has nothing to say.. she doesn't want to know the facts.. she just wants to I assume stay on the MJ payroll) Flo really might be the stupidest person I have ever heard. She never has a point? or facts.. but seems to love to say dumb crap and be angry about?? I LOVE when the camera gets really close on her face! .. and we can see these 2 FAKE waaay too White "Chickle" Front TEETH with her off white/green Real Teeth everywhere else in her mouth

Reuters UK "Michael has 24-hour a day supervision with him for the specific reason to protect him from these claims" So,are we to believe that Michael has to be "supervised" 24 hours a day?? This is bizarre and very sad.

I think it's a very sad situation indeed. But you know, a few months back I was sat on my local park with a girlfriend of mine and MJ came up in conversation and she's like "I think he's a freak, what with all that child abuse shit and stuff", and I said to her "I believe he's innocent, but I accept that I may be wrong. It bothers me that he's such an easy target and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets accused again." He didn't back away from his fascination with children after the last fiasco and it pisses me off that he is either naive or just too stubborn to see how it could effect people's opinion of him. If he is found guilty then I hope he gets some major help. And of course his career will be well and truly over. I'm not sure if I could play his music ever again.

Let's be clear here.
1. Reuters places the arrest warrant reference in quotation marks. 2. The quotation appear to be an NBC news report quoting the Jackson family lawyer stating that the Sanata Barbara County Sherrif has issied an arrest warrant. The County Sherrif's website simply states: November 18th, 2003 Neverland Ranch Press Conference DATE: Tuesday, November 18 TIME: 6:20 pm Press Conference The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department and the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office will be holding a press conference in response to the media interest generated by today's warrant service at the Neverland Ranch. The press conference will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at " Warren Hall" located at the Earl Warren Show Grounds in Santa Barbara on Las Positas Road. No further information regarding this matter will be released today {i.e. Tuesday}. . [This message was edited Wed Nov 19 4:10:04 PST 2003 by langebleu] ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. Exactly. It really, really bothers me the way he is so naive about this subject, and how he doesn't think he's doing anything wrong. It made me cringe to watch that documentary, with him insisting that "it's not sexual" (regarding the sleepovers). After the 1993/94 fiasco,he should have learned a lesson. Is going to jail the only way that he will finally see that his behavior is inappropriate?? Sometimes I wonder if MJ is purposely trying to self-destruct? Maybe he is so unhappy with his life and his lack of a "normal" childhood, that he just doesn't care anymore.Maybe his attitude is "They think I'm a freak,so I guess I'll prove them right".I mean,in recent years,he hasn't exactly been trying to REPAIR his image, has he? On the documentary,he admits that he allows young boys to sleep in his bed...his recent charity single "What More Can I Give" was co-produced by a gay porno director...his new single "One More Chance" is a collaboration with the child-molesting R.Kelly...it's almost as if he's GOING OUT OF HIS WAY to fuck up his life and what's left of his career!!!! Many artists have self-destructed in the past (Elvis,Whitney, etc) but Mike's fall from grace is the most tragic and most shocking of all. And maybe there isn't anything sexual about it. When I was in my early teens I had a mate who was in his 30's and I would often stay over at his and there was nothing sinister about it. But with Michael, after having been accused of sexual encounters with a minor you would think he'd have the intelligence to say "I'm not gonna let that happen again". But as we all know, Michael isn't like you or I. He really does live in a world of his own design. But it seems that ultimately it's done him more harm than good. And having a video directed by a gay porn director is irrelevant.

It is wrong and inappropriate.Even if nothing sexual happens,it is still wrong and Michael should know that by now.And yes,MJ lives in his "own world" but that's no excuse. The reason I brought up the gay porno director is because it's just another example of stupidity on MJ's part.Either he really is extremely dumb and naive,or he is purposely trying to fuck up his career and his life by making questionable choices.

Okay. But if, as you say, "Even if nothing sexual happens, it is still wrong", how is it wrong? I'm not looking for an argument here, David. You know I like you very much. I'm just interested in your opinion as to how it's wrong.

It's no argument But it is WRONG for a grown man to have young boys sleeeping in his bed. These boys are NOT his children. Please don't tell me that YOU see nothing wrong with this!! If you had a 12-year old son, would you really let him spend the night with a grown man,and sleep in his bed?

If you had a 12-year old son, would you really let him spend the night with a grown man,and sleep in his bed? It's unusual, for sure. But if, and it's a big if, there is no danger of anything untoward happening then it's up to the individual to decide what is right and what is wrong. I remain neutral about such things. As I posted above, as a teenager I had a similar friendship with an older mate and there was never any sexual element to the relationship. Maybe the parents of MJ's friends are just starstruck and so overlook the potential dangers. But in essence, if they are aware of the risks (and surely they are - is there anyone in the western world who didn't hear about the scandal ten years ago?) and still allow their children to stay over, then they're as responsible for neglecting the interests of the minors as much as any suspected paedophile.

Absolutely. It baffles me why these parents would even ALLOW their sons to spend the night with MJ (or any other grown man),especially after the 1993 accusations. You have to wonder, what kinda parents are they?

Matt Lauer on NBC's Today Show stated that an arrest warrant was issued at the same time as the search warrant, and that that seemed peculiar. |

I also heard that this was a result of the discoveries of a private investigator who has been a regular visitor to Neverland. The plot thickens.
