No he has not been formally cleared of charges. There is still an open investigation while the chief witness's family is not all on the same page of whether or not she should testify. Plus there are other charges pending against him for posession of child pornography.
While he awaits the trial or next court proceeding, the judge in the case has granted him limited ability to travel to promote his album and tour. Well it makes some sense considering he wrote and produced the song "One More Chance" that MJ was filming the video for. If it's anyone who knows how to write and re-write songs of contrition is Awrah. What amazes me is how many of the same people who are ready to see Michael burn, have no problem whatsoever with R Kelly! Kelly was found to have child pornography, including videos he made of him having sex with the girl in question. We haven't heard ANY conclusive evidence about MJ, but many people are ready to fry him.
Is it because Kelly's victims were female? Does that make child molestation more acceptable?

Everyone's talking about how MJ's career will suffer because of these charges,but R.Kelly is actually HOTTER than he's ever been,despite the fact that there is a VIDEO showing him committing a crime.His 'Chocolate Factory' CD is turning out to be the biggest album of his career.
