Billboard Top Hits 1993

Stories of Michael Jackson's search and arrest warrants and child molestation allegations got me trippin' on memory lane like it was 1993 again.

05. All That She Wants - Ace of Base
06. Mr. Wendal - Arrested Development
07. Ordinary World - Duran Duran
08. Informer - Snow
09. Show Me Love - Robin S.

I was flashing back to 7th grade, and I had brought a long article about the allegations against Michael Jackson to home economics (sewing) class, and my friend had Ace of Base* on the boombox. I was 13 at the time, and I remember saying to my friend, "I could sleep with Michael Jackson AND sue him for it!" evillol

*How this thread actually came to be.

I don't know what qualifies those songs to be the top hits, but these songs are what went to #1 on Billboard that year:

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU - Whitney Houston
A WHOLE NEW WORLD - Peabo Bryson & Regina Belle
INFORMER - Snow
FREAK ME - Silk
THAT'S THE WAY LOVE GOES - Janet Jackson
WEAK - SWV
CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE - UB40
DREAMLOVER - Mariah Carey
I'D DO ANYTHING FOR LOVE (BUT I WON'T DO THAT) - Meat Loaf
AGAIN - Janet Jackson
HERO - Mariah Carey

This website has a list going all the way back to the 50s of Billboard #1s.
