With all due respect Lisa, its hard to say Slim Shady & MJ in the same breath and the same sentence.

While MJ get mobbed from the Media, the brotha however deliever thoughtful music(something I'm not afraid to let my kids to hear) unlike Slim Shady who's another angry white trash boy spreading his drama all over the place as if folks ain't got problems of their own already.

Sorry,,,I don't see the comparision!

2 me it's like I think Emenim gets a lot of flack cuz he a white rapper. It's true Emenim does get publized cuz he's white , but in all the same, he does get alot of hateration 4 the same reason ... being white

Michael Jackson on the other hand
and Michael Jackson gets alot of flack cuz he's the biggest pop star who just happens to be black, this is the only reason why I made the comparison.

However they're stars living a public life, so they are just gonna get heat from people no matter. That's just the way it is in Hollywood , when you get to big, I guess.

Once you’ve made it to the top, people start getting suspicious and try to find ways to knock to you back down again .

I don't dislike him 4 being a white rapper at all(I leave that shit 4 those who DON'T read!),,,I dislike him 4 his attitude and crappy music, THEN have the guts and with a str8 face turn around and call it "sarcasm".

Then again, half of the rappers out there are releasing crappy music(most of them 2 be fair anyway).

I think Emenim's next rap should be about his relationships with little boys.

And what is Elvis's legacy?
The King of Rock & Roll who was manipulated by his manager, died from a long abuse of drugs, stole songwriters credits, had a backbone of jelly and lived a life as a sham.
What is Michael Jackson's legacy?
The King of Pop who masterminded a brilliant career that took him to the top but was toppled by his personal weaknesses.
Michael Jackson already matches Elvis's legacy - They both are HUGELY popular singers who demonstrate that success & money & fame are not a guarantee for happiness.
The difference between Elvis & MJ is Elvis died before the shit hit the fan - MJ is having to face the music in the public eye.

You're right on both counts. The sad thing is neither Elvis nor Tupac have a real legacy to live up to. It's a media-made sham. Tupac and Eminem are/were both crying out for help-- totally different situations of course. The legacy comes when you turn it around and overcome your obstacles.

Older white men don't want Whitney to have a legacy like ReeRee, because she married a black man.
