All I have to say is : So what? If he did it, send his ass to jail. If he didn't do it, you would think he would have learned his lesson after having to pay out 25 million dollars for that other kid. Stupid is as stupid does.

This is starting to look bad.
Since they apparently had the arrest warrent with them when they searched the house, they must have some kinda evidence other than the child's testimony, right?
There should b a press conference going about right now, anybody find any reports?

bbc also has an article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/h...282773.stm
Arrest warrant for singer Jackson

Police maintained a watch at the entrance to Neverland on Tuesday
Police in California have issued an arrest warrant for Michael Jackson, Santa Barbara police department said.
The singer is in Las Vegas and authorities are negotiating with his lawyer for his surrender, said senior deputy Tim Gracey.

It follows a search of the singer's California Neverland ranch by police in relation to allegations of child abuse.

The warrant concerns an alleged violation of a code prohibiting lewd acts with a child under 14.

The accusations of abuse are believed to have been brought by a 12-year-old boy.

Jackson's lawyers have said that the search on Tuesday was a smear campaign timed to hit the release of the singer's new album.

Las Vegas police spokeswoman Tina Ellis said earlier: "Evidently there is a warrant out for his arrest and Santa Barbara police are negotiating with Jackson's attorneys regarding this case."

JANFAN4L, I got love 4 ya, and Tommy Mottola has stroke, no doubt, but he didn't convince MJ to go on television and be seen snuggling with a 12 year-old boy and celebrating the beauties of sleeping in a bed with kids. That's all on Michael.

As your avatar would say to Michael, ultimately, and all things considered, "You can't blame nobody but you."

Learned which lesson? Not to appear with children after that? More than anything else, this should be evidence for his innocence.

I don't understand what you mean. Appearing with more children after the first scandal is evidence of his innocence?

The Jackson camp really expect us to believe this multi million dollar pop superstar has to have a 24 hour round the clock nanny to keep an eye out that nothing inappropriate happens? MJ is never alone?
So this must be true - it came out of Jacksons camp so there is no disputing its truth - MJ lives a horrible life of absolutely no privacy. A prisoner in Neverland with a 24 hour babysitter sitting behind him. Jacksons declaration of his innocence only serves to make him look like a sad & pitiful man.

"These characters always seem to surface with dreadful allegations just as another project, an album, a video is being released," the Jackson statement said, referring to Tuesday's release of a greatest hits album, "Number Ones."

The district attorney dismissed any connection to the CD's release.

"Like the sheriff and I are really into that kind of music," Sneddon said.

Let's not forget that this is about the

wise-cracking cops. That's totally
inappropriate!
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
