Wildcard: It is actually worth most of the hype on this board After months of telling TTD supporters I would do so, I finally broke down and bought TTD/Sananda's Wildcard this weekend and listened to it last night. It is an impressive piece of work. It is funky, listenable, and surprisingly mature. I think of it as a funkier, more upbeat Sea Change. The guy has a really soulful voice. I haven't processed it all yet, but the LP is one of the best I have heard in some time.

Good decision you made . I know the CD since it first was for free download on the site of a german TV channel in April 2001 and I can't stop listening to it since then With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! Wildcard is the best album I've heard in recent memory. I'm glad u liked it too. Which version did you get? There are a few diff versions with slightly different track lists. I plan to get them all eventually. (yeah, I absolutely love this album)

Hardline was good, but he has long since topped that with subsequent albums, IMO.

I really like Suga Free (although that "sweet tooth has a cavity yo" part is weird) I love SR-636. I used it on a mix CD dedicated to human genitals. And "Designated Fool" is fucking brilliant. What an amazing song. Damn him for sheer perfection! And you are right, there's some filler too... Overall it gets my endorsment 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

i only have the download and wonder if the disc is worth purchasing... At Sananda's site http://www.sanandapromotion.com/ you can find the difference in the tracklisting at "Wildcard Evolution". IMHO the disc is definately worth purchasing With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! I got the one with 18 tracks on it. I haven't committed it to memory yet, nor have I read the liners. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

"Shalom" is such a beautiful song I it. By the way, is that the one that Wendy Melvoin plays guitar on? NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

No, Wendy plays bass (not guitar) on "Sweetness" (I just love that song!!!) It's a good album but I would've shaved a few tracks from it. If the songs hadn't all run in to each other I'd have burnt a copy something like this...
O Divina Designated Fool My Dark Places Suga Free What Shall I Do? Testify Shalom Girl Ev'rythang Sweetness Some Birds Blue Love Can You Hear Me (from the first edition) Sayin' About You Shadows.
