U.K. positions for his last five singles: Outside #2 As #4 If I Told You That #9 Freeek #7 Shoot The Dog #12 So he hasn't done too badly. and that's with no real new material in ages! i love me some george michael and it is about time. perfect title to his album. and with the gay hype in america, his sexuality is sure to be less of a hindrance. only on the UK charts can a #2 single or a top 10 hit be considered a "disappointment" So true! .

Lets just hope its not any dance crap like Freeek/shoot the dog.. That stuff was terrible Hey, I LOVED "Freeek" and although the song of "Shoot the Dog" was weak, the video kicked ASS!!!

GM isn't stupid. He is loaded and never seems in a rush to get his material out.
You can be sure that by re-signing, he got the deal he wants. I bet he gets his masters, a much higher cut of profit (inc the back catalogue) and a deal where we releases stuff in his own time. Probably a one or two album deal. GMs beef with Sony was only ever about the amount of albums he was expected to produce. Basically, one every two or three years. GM prefers to do one every 5-7 years. Thats why he went to court on the slavery claim. The image thing (Sony wanting pop, shaking ass thing) was never part of the contract. Prince could learn a lot. Getting cosy with WB now could work well for him. .

Prince could definitely benefit from making ammends with WB. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

I am so glad George is finally putting out a new album. This man has so much talent and he's almost been invisible for the past few years. I can't wait to buy his new cd. I'm sure I will be one of the first in line to get this one when it's released.
