Yeah I hope it isn't because I am getting older and thinking the award shows today aren't as good.

but they really are not! I think allot of this is because the time period we are talking about (early 80's) thats when MTV was new & no one knew it would complety blow up like that!

NOW every Muscian/Star has done the same "blueprint" WE all saw waaay back in like 1984.

I guess it is amazing and "new" to someone that was born after that?

RUBEN whats with your pissy ass attitude on the red carpet, someone hide your burgers.

I didn't see the show, but if Ruben had an attitude, i don't fuckin blame him. He WON that damn american idol contest and is still sitting on the side lines while Clay and justin and kelly get all the spotlight time. where's his damn album already? Just proves how full of shit the american idol contest is. He doesn't look like a pop star, and ultimately that's what matters in the pop world. ... clay may not be good looking but at least he's skinny, right?

I really feel for ruben... even on the commercials for the upcoming american idol christmas show, Ruben gets third or fourth billing behind people who didn't WIN that stupid talent show...

There's no good music out now anyway, so it makes sense.

he said he recoreded enough songs to make TWO albums. guess he should have stuck to one, and gotten it out on time.

The Grammy's doesn't let people perform on the show if they performed on the AMA's. I'm really serious that was a huge contraversy a couple of years ago because Michael Jackson wanted to perform on both shows and he had to choose. So whoever didn't perform on the AMA's this year will more than likely do the Grammy's. I can't wait to see Beyonce's STELLAR Grammy performance.
