New Britney cd is really good

After the terrible last cd and hearing the new single, I was not very optimistic, but omfg I am shocked at the good tracks. There are at least 6 or 7 really good tracks. I have to say that 'In the Zone' is one of my least favorites of the whole cd. The sappy pop 'I'm not a girl...' is gone and she is hitting us with some grown up moaning a la the 'Janet' and 'Velvet Rope' CD. She is NOT Janet by any means but it is so nice to see her breaking away from bubble gum.

I Got That Boom - (lose the ying yangs) just a basic dance cut that is just not quite together (she's got the boom, every one is after her boom disbelief)

Breathe on Me - HIT! (Kylie would DIE for this groove!)

Early Morning - HIT! Great groove (TLC would love this one)

Toxic - pop, but good pop (is there such a thing?), Bounce baby Bounce

Showdown - She getS funky, kinda (undo my zipper please omfg) It's hot!

Touch of My Hand - Touching herself horny groove, need I say more. Good one!

Outrageous - dance cut, Beyonce esqe (no Lionel Richie, thank goodness)

Brave New Girl - a real fun little number (Madonna passes the torch)

Everytime - the slow track is even good

Shadow - another slow one, should have given it to Clay Aiken

Take a chance, if its $9.99, and pick it up next Tuesday. It is very good. Should be a hit. Better than Beyonce's, boxed sorry.

.

Damn it. I can't afford all these new CDs that are coming out mostly next Tuesday. There is Biz Markie (first album in good knows how many years!), Cyndi Lauper (old covers which sounded like a good idea but I heard a few samples and I might pass) Al Green (the long awaited...so damn long awaited people don't care no more, return to R&B/pop). And of course the first DVD volume of the greatest fifteen minute cartoon ever to grace Sunday Nights, Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

Sorry honey, no offence to you or others, but I wouldn't wipe my ass with any of Britneys cd's, let alone pay $9.99 for one. tp toilet

I thought the same about Coldplay,

but for Brit, I like a good groove when I hear one. I am 36 and don't mind telling people that I enjoy all kinds of music. I would pay $9.99 to watch a chicken walk up a hill backwards.

You know, I have not posted in a week because this site is sucking the life out of me with all the negativity and thread locking. I thought I would start a thread today because it was positive and look what happens. I give up. You have to say you hate something or somebody or someone to actively participate in these forums and it just sucks. If you read that title of this thread, and you HATE Britney Spears, why did you even look, or respond? Some of you people need serious help.

I'm with you Thad.
Britney is not the object of my devotion but I haven't heard her last album.

There's so many people who wouldn't admit enjoying some music because it's not cool.

I mean, music is supposed to satisfy our senses. If we enjoy pop or country or whatever but we're too proud to admit it, I think we have a problem.

I think the album is good from what i heard so far.I love her music and style and shes still sexy without being trashy. She's gives u just enough then pulls away.Maybe Christina Aguilera should take some tips from Britney on how 2 be a classy lady and not a tramp.

That's what I say. If Brintey has a good album, why be a music snob about it. I wanted to get her last album ("Britney") but just never got to it. I have no interest int he first two. I kind of want this one based on the little I heard of "Brethe On Me"(for a second I thought that was Kylie), but I must admit it ain't happening only becuase there are so many albums I deccated myself to like Biz and Al Green (thinking twice on the Cyndi covers album).

I'll be willing to bet that half of the people who diss her will go out and buy the album. Her albums don't sell millions just because of little girls.

I bought her last album (which was good) and will most likely buy this one.
I know she's no mariah or teena, or chaka, or even christina, but she's capable of putting out an enjoyable album, many aren't willing to admit this, that's where most of the nagativity comes from.

It took Madonna 4 albums before grown people actually admitted she wasn't that bad, keep that in mind.

BTW: I've heard the whole album, it's good.

Exactly, I have heard most Of the BRITNEY CD and its Excellent and I like what I hear and I will be buying it (and getting the IMPORT with Bonus tracks). I felt the same way about Christina Aguilera and PINK, Im not a fan of Christina AT ALL but that Stripped CD is GREAT, and PINK's 2nd CD and latest are Fucking great. I listen to everything that appeals to me, I can listen to COLDPLAY or AEROSMITH to the JAYHAWKS to PRINCE to OUTKAST to MYA to the Dixie Chicks to DAVE MATTHEWS to NORAH JONES etc, U get the point i think. And I dont limit myself to NEW artists because IM partial to the artsts that I grew Up on, like QUEEN or THE BEATLES or BON JOVI or DURAN DURAN or AHA. So if someone that Im usually not into puts out a GREAT CD im going to give it a shot, Im not going to close my ears and eyes because its Britney or Pink or whoever.

woot! Good to hear! That's what I was looking for. I love to get turned on to hot music. If I didn't have an opened mind, I would miss out on so much good stuff. Some people just can't get out of their own box.

hahaha, funny. No, I was saying you buy me Cyndi and I'll buy you Britney (same money spent), I was just joking.

I support any cd that comes out to retail at $9.99 and always will. If not, I download it, point blank. They they can play, I can play too. Cds are not a neccesity.
