Correction! Prince rejected DeVante. He probably knew that he was up to no good.  But seriously, Jodeci was a very talented group. DeVante was one of the most influential songwriters/musicians/producers of the early to mid-90s. Too bad he let his ego and drugs get the best of him...and to think he had the talents of Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine and Tweet under his wing. Damn.  | |

I love ALL the Jodeci albums!
They were definitely the shit in the ealry 90's ecspecially "Diary of a mad band"
Unfortunately - After Devante went on his little (crackish) escapade and Mr. Dalvin (who never sang a note tried his little corny drum solo and K-ci and Jo jo resorted to corny love ballads- Puffy's creation just fell apart - Very sad!  | |

Jodeci r 1 of my fave R&B bands ever. I think the band were gonna get back 2gether after Kci's & Jojo's 'X' album as it includes a bonus track called 'Slip N Fall'.
 've got all 3 Jodeci CDs and all 4 Kci & Jojo fans, they can r great singers.
Good 2 see some more fans of Jodeci on the org, thought was the only 1! | |
