I'd like to dedicate the song "At Last I Am Free" to Tony's memory and also to the memory of Bernard Edwards.
God's rhythm section is a little more tighter up there. I'm sorry, I forgot to add that it is on the C'est Chic CD. [This message was edited Fri Nov 14 7:57:54 PST 2003 by cranshaw62]

Crap!!! Two members of The Power Station in one year?!?!? That sucks! Now I'm depressed! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

This is very tragic. I liked his work with Chic and The Power Station
Rest in Peace, Tony. I'll never forget your aggressive funk/rock style! All I can think about now is his drum intro on "Some Like it Hot". "boom boom, boom boom bat!" NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Man I just heard about it this morning and it was a total shock. No idea about his condition prior to the news. I haven't seen anything online initially but there are other articles if you do a search under the news section. He tore it up on Bang A Gong and Some Like It Hot...turn those songs up next time and you'll see what I mean. I met him briefly after a Power Station show a few years ago when they toured in support of their 2nd release. He was really nice. Always liked his cool laid back presence. Now I'm gonna play Chic and Power Station at work all day. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

Chic's brilliant rhythm section is gone. Way too soon.
