IAN BROWN. Not vocally, granted, but he was (and is) an absolute star on stage. Responsible for virtually every British indie frontman pose of the 90's (see Liam Gallagher) “If I can shoot rabbits/then I can shoot fascists” | |

Mick
Robert Ozzy (Black Sabbath days) Bono Liam Morris ...btw I don't consider John Lennon the front man of The Beatles...him and Paul were equal. No flames please, I love Lennon, but I don't like when Paul gets overshadowed during his time in The Beatles. I consider them both the leaders. That band wouldn't have had NEAR the impact without Paul (and to a lesser extent...George). Same with Joe Strummer...awesome talent (and sadly missed...listening to his new one now)...but he wasn't the front man of The Clash...Mick Jones was just a frontman as Strummer was.
