1) Puffy sucks. Good businessman, but, as Otan says, a meagerly talented musical whore... and people thankfully are getting sick of him.

2) Lenny, who actually could go down in history as a great artist if he stopped chasing skirts, kept his prettyboy *ss out of the gym or from in front of a camera long enough and stopped whoring everyone else's image and sound, is now realizing that people are getting sick of him, too.

That having been said, yeah, it was only a matter of time before these two met to suck the blood of each other's opposite crossover appeal.

Only time will tell if it'll work, but the key is in the music, and for years -- including their latest trash -- I've been totally unimpressed with either of them.

I mean, that just seemed like an unlikely collaboration between Pharell, P. Diddy, and L. Kravitz. For those that don't know, I hate Diddy as an "entertainer", but respect him as a businessman. I cannot stand the repetitive Neptunes either. I do, however, like Mr. Kravitz for he may be the successor to that other guy I love's throne. But Lenny just lost cool points for this song and video he did. Any thoughts? Or should I say, who saw the video?

Yes, I've seen the video a few times now. I was also quite surprised to see this collaboration. I don't like Diddy much either, but I do respect the man. I do like Lenny a lot and have been a fan of his for many years. I might be completely off base here, but I think that Lenny has involved himself with these guys simply to get himself out there and seen by his own people and the hip-hop crowd. Lenny has never been too well liked (musically) by his people and perhaps this is a way to give him more exposure. I just hope that his new album retains his sound and he doesn't try to do hip-hop. That would be whack IMO. I also think that Lenny and P. Diddy are pals and probably run into each other quite a lot at fashion shows etc. twocents

Unfortunately, I'd be willing to bet that A LOT of that is just namechecking. If you were unknown up and comer, and Poot Doody offered to produce a crap track for you? Hell yes I'd let him. Ditto with Lamey Crappitz. I'd let him "write" a song for my record. And then I'd re-write all the lyrics because they would be on a 3rd grade limerick level.

No offense - they ARE huge names, which is probably what gets them on other records a lot. And Plop Dumpy DEFINITELY knows his marketing 101.

The better question should read, "What the hell is Lenny Kravitz doing with Nicole Kidman when he has that fine ass Lisa Bonet in his rolodex?" hmmm
