Andre 3000's "The Love Below" is sooo good!

I can't stop playing this album. Last night I had "She Lives In My Lap" on repeat. Even this morning I was playing "She Lives In My Lap" repeatedly!!

OMG...I love Vibrate, She Lives In My Lap, Dracula's Wedding, Beholddd a Lay-dayyy!! LMAO!!! I LOVE THIS RECORD!!!

I love Andre's voice. He has this twang that I dig.

"Take Off Your Cool" and "Prototype" are beautiful.

"She's Alive" is a gem. <--period.

This album is so rich with rhythms and grooves.

AHHH!!

Yeah?

I asked that because the best time to listen to this album is when your driving. I get the most satisfaction when my aunt and I are in the car blasting this album.

Ah! This is a great album to play driving on surface streets. I know people in L.A. will agree with me. There are records you cruise to on the street and then there are records you play on the freeway.

I see Andre has cast his sonic spell on a fellow orger. IMO the whole album is incredible, it's been a long time coming for something like this.

I think it's a great album but I think he's still in the formative stages. Give him a couple years and I think he'll REALLY be a force to be reconed with!

I was listening to it (for the umpteenth time) in my car this morning. Now tell me, what's cooler than being cool? wink

Anyhoo. I suddenly thought that I'd better ask if there is a clean version and a parental advisory version, because there are some swear words masked out (most noticably on "the morning after" segue). It sounds as though Andre meant to do this. I'm hoping there is only one version and that's the one I've got. Anyone know?
Just somewhere in the middle,

Admit it; that song shows his singing deficiencies
more than any other - ballads have a tendency to show
one up. He's only a notch above Pharrell. eek

I liked the Leno performance last night with the tennis theme. Why do they call no points 'love' in a match anyway? confuse

Also, the next singles are Prototype and Bowtie.

I'd love to see a live performance or video single of "Take Off Your Cool" with Andre 3-thou & Norah Jones. That would be hot. If anyone has a link to it online I'd be ever so grateful. smile

I'm so impressed with this song!

He truely worked that duet out, 2 totaly different artists blending with their voice blending 2ghether(they sound similiar in that song). Prototype is beautiful too!

"She Lives In My Lap" scare the hell outta me!

I love "Happy Valantine's Day", "Blue & Pink"(esp the string section) and "Love hater,,,love hater,,hater of love" lol!

I think his solo stuff is betta than his work in Outkast!

She Lives In My Lap is hot, but trust me...Prototype will be a fixture on Quiet Storm radio!!! It'll broaden OutKast's audience even moreso, believe it or not.
