SOUNDSCAN Week ending 11/10......Outkast falls..Toby Keith sadly tops chart!

In what was considered a 'Super'Tuesday...a slew of albums blasted on to the chart with big numbers...Boosted by the CMA Awards, a #1 Country single, and the Walmarts of the USA...Toby Keith has the #1 album...Sarach McLachlan returns after a 4 year hiatus and her first studio album in 6 years...'Afterglow' is her biggest entry on the chart to date...Same goes for the annoying patriot at #1...

Interesting if not depressing stuff. I went to Best Buy twice that week. I ended up buying "Finding Nemo" for my brohter one day and Peter Gaberiel's "Hit" (which was no hit since it didn't chart in the top 100). Anyway I live in Ann Arbor and needless to say that were a lot of young people (men and women) picking up the new Sarah McLachlan (oh yeah, we are liberals). Yeah, I guess Toby's pandering helped his record sales. And did you write that intro. Funny and informative stuff! And if you want a real Super Tuesday, just wait 'til next week. It's pretty likely that Britney's new one will be number one but who knows. She has a lot of competition!

Looks like Ja's no one kind of had a weak debut. Shit, a Sheryl Crow's Greatest hits (mostly stuff people own already) beat him!

You got me! Deep down inside...my dream is to one day report for Billboard...maybe instead of busting me for reporting these numbers...they'll be impressed by my wit, humor, and charm!

LOL...peace!

I HATE TOBY KEITH!
