Prince William has arranged to meet Beyonce after one of her gigs in London next week, reports Ananova.com.

In July, Prince Charles met the Destiny's Child singer after the Prince's Trust Party in the Park concert and told her William had a crush on her.

"Both my sons have your album and I think Wills quite fancies you," Charles told her.

The 22-year-old star said: "I went red in the face and couldn't believe it. I'm sure William can't believe his father said that and I'm sure Charles will be in trouble when he gets home."

William had planned to watch Beyonce when she performed in Glasgow on Tuesday night, but had to cancel at the last minute due to university commitments in St. Andrews.

Now he and four friends will be in Wembley next week to see the singer in action and he'll go backstage afterward to meet her.

"I'm thrilled -- Wills is very good-looking," Beyonce said.

They make a fine couple

I think Prince William is a hottie. But, I just can't picture Queen Beyonce (she would be queen, right?) in Buckingham Palace. What she gonna do? Show everybody how to do the booty shake?

Prince Charles is Queen Elizabeth's son.

Queen Elizabeth is the current Queen of England.

Prince Charles is the Crown Prince (meaning he will inherit the throne and become King Charles when Queen Elizabeth dies).

Prince Charles had two sons with former-Princess Diana: Prince William and Prince Harry.

Prince William was born first out of the lot so he's the Crown Prince (the first child inherits the crown).

When Prince William's father King Charles dies in the future, Crown Prince William will become King William.

He's got a long way to go though.

Charles won't have that long on the throne though. He's pushing it a bit in his mid 50s and I reckon old Queenie could go on for quite a while longer - no major health problems of what I know. Unless she steps down or something.

I'd be for getting rid of the monarchy if we'd had a half decent Prime Minister in my living memory... and in my parents' living memory. I suppose they're there to suck money out of gullible tourists and keep the tabloids happy when David Beckham and Michael Jackson aren't doing anything.
