..and will see her again in concert! But yes I do agree..she has a controled/no surprise show! They think of one show and just repeat it everywhere. but for a non-musican who lip syncs.. most of the time I love her! ..and only respect her in that non-musican field. atleast she write her own music.. and performs new dance steps.. new look.. ect new dance steps? she's still doing the same choreography from videos 15 years old are you talking about style or actual choreography? the actual choreography, most notably Rhythm Nation and Alright... but what about all of the new choreography for the songs? the only songs that get new choreography are the ones that are from whatever the most recent album that's out, that didn't get performed on the previous tour. and those are done the same as the videos as well... and this is bad because? oh, i didn't say it was bad. all i said was that it was repetitive and unimaginative if you've already seen it once. sounds like she's going for 5 identical tours in a row... i've seen the past 2 tours and i certainly did not see repetition. yeah, the rhythm nation dance is the same...yeah, some of the fantasy segment of the show was the same...i'll even admit that i enjoyed the velvet rope show more because i hadn't seen any of the dancing live before. at the end of it all, however, i watched two brilliant performances that were the most energized choreography performances i've ever seen from a pop star. there were no 10 minute breaks in between songs (like the drowned world show), there were no dull moments at all. even the segments that you call repetitive were still very exciting. some of the choreography may be the same but the presentation of those performances are always fresh and fun, which added new spins on old favorites and, in my opinion, kept the show from feeling repetitious. anyway, i reiterate... if you've seen one Janet show, you've seen them all so, then, are you now being repetitive? | |
