You know what? I've been listening to Fleetwood Mac like crazy the past week or so.Just yesterday,I was playing 'Rumours' like it had just been released...lol...I'm gonna finally buy the albums that I don't have, like 'Tusk' and 'Mirage'.I've always loved them, but now I'm quickly becoming a fanatic!

smile haven't got the new CD yet, though.

If you wait until Feb of next year the remasters are due out.

So that's three now:

Peacekeeper
Say You Will
Thrown Down.

Yet none of them released in the UK. mad

I wonder if they have the balls to release Red Rover. That would really stand out on radio. smile

I'm sure it is,but I gotta admit, the title track is kinda...strange? How does the rest of the album sound?

Cool,I will wait for those. I'll start off with the self-titled 1975 album, then 'Rumours'.Any news on bonus tracks?

Stevie's best ever songs are on that album, imo.

Christine's stuff is just Christine's stuff. Very good tho'. Over & Over, Think About Me, Brown Eyes and Never Forget are all good songs.

Lindsey's stuff - wacky

Just as strange--lindsey wanted to do a "left of the middle" to Rumours and while it didn't match up to the commerical success rumours had, it received a lot of critical acclaim...actually most of stevie's best work is on TUSK...e.g. Beautiful child, Angel, sara...lindsey would have left th eband if he didn't get some creative control on the album after rumours...b/c he needed an outlet to grow is musical abilities and didn't want to keep making the same sound...and it may have seemed selfish at the time but i admire the musicians who are true to gorwth and not to what the mainstream wants...i can't type this morning b/c i'm jittery so i am done...

Well, on the 'Ledge' boards (FM site) there's news that they've been delayed until Feb. They were originally due out this June. pissed

So, that's what I'm going with.
But if they are released in Nov, then - woot!

Some of it.

It's probably that line-ups weakest effort but all these are good in my opinion:

Love In Store
Can't Go Back
That's Alright
Gypsy
Only Over You
Hold Me
Oh Diane
Eyes Of The World.

Do you have the Tango In The Night album?

I've got "Rumours" on my hard drive. Maybe I'll give it a listen!

'Mirage' was considered a "return-to-form" after the wildly experimental 'Tusk' project, right? At least that's what I recall many critics saying...lol...most artists always follow up a "weird" record with a more conventional album (ie...Stevie Wonder's 'Hotter Than July',which came after the 'Journey Through The Secret Life of Plants' project). This would be a good topic for another thread...lol

No,I don't have 'Tango In The Night',but I love that song "Everywhere" smile

Tusk is stacks better than Mirage. It takes a little longer to fully appreciate but for me Tusk is their best album.

You need Tango In The Night as well. There's some great songs on there.
